Slack notifications

Post rich Block Kit notifications to any Slack channel the instant a customer submits a response — no app to install, just a webhook URL.

Set up Slack alerts free

Set up in four steps

Uses standard Slack Incoming Webhooks — no special permissions or admin approval.

01

Create a Slack app

Go to api.slack.com/apps, create a new app for your workspace, and give it a name (e.g. Easy Feedback).

02

Enable Incoming Webhooks

Under Features → Incoming Webhooks, toggle the feature on. Click 'Add New Webhook' and select your target channel.

03

Paste the webhook URL

Copy the webhook URL Slack generates. Paste it into Easy Feedback Settings → Integrations → Slack and save.

04

Set your notifyOn filter

Choose All responses, Positive only, or Negative only. Update the filter any time.

What the notification contains

Each alert uses Block Kit — Slack's structured message format — to display all key context in a clean, readable layout directly in your channel.

  • Emoji satisfaction rating displayed visually
  • Customer name and company
  • Autotask ticket number
  • Assigned technician
  • Survey comment (if provided)
  • Timestamp and direct link to response
